Warmed Carrot Smoothie Recipe

We promise we didn’t mix up the photos with this smoothie recipe! Yes, this smoothie is purple and yes it’s only made of organic veggies, parsley and our Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend. So what the heck is making it such a beautiful shade of velvety purple?


Purple carrots!


Did you know not all carrots are the plump, orange varieties you find in the store? In fact, all carrots used to be purple but once carrots began to be cultivated, in the 17th century, they turned the familiar shade of vibrant orange. Purple carrots, though, have a ton of health benefits! Not only do they contain vitamin A and beta carotene but also have anthocyanins, the same antioxidants that give blueberries their color and superfood benefits.


This savory superfood smoothie is perfection during a cleanse, great as lunch during busy days and the perfect mid-afternoon work break snack. It’s loaded with superfoods and veggies so you feel like you’re giving your body the healing plant-based medicine it needs to feel cleansed, detoxed and satisfied.

Gather This:

2 cups bone broth

1 bunch of purple carrots (roasted)

2 cloves garlic

Handful of parsley

1 tsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

Sprinkle of Green Dream Savory Blend

Handful of almonds

S + P


Do This:

Roast your purple carrots with a drizzle of EVOO and a sprinkle of Green Dream Savory Blend at 400° for 40 minutes. Next, add them to a blender with 2 cups of warmed bone broth, 2 cloves of garlic, parsley, almonds, Green Dream blend, Green Dream Savory, salt and pepper. Blend and season to taste. Blend again if you add in additional seasonings, pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!!
