Clean-Eating Pomegranate Coconut Yogurt Bowl
I love fall most of all for all the delicious fruits + veggies that come in season. They’re easily some of my favorite and one of them, pomegranate, is at the top of my list. Pomegranates have symbolized everlasting life and vibrant health across many cultural traditions, from ancient mythologies to cherished religious texts. They are the only food that contains a compound called punicalagin, which has been linked to lower cholesterol levels, healthy blood pressure, and decreases in the atherosclerotic plaque that causes heart blockages. The seed at the center is also incredibly rich in fiber, while the tender flesh around the seed may promote joint health and reduce the risk of depression! So, so good for you and the perfect fruit to enjoy during a reset!
Pomegranate seeds play beautifully in a nourishing + simply coconut yogurt bowl. Pair it with some Green Dream and you have a tasty, yet yummy afternoon lunch!
Gather This:
¾ cup Coconut Cult Yogurt (or any other dairy-free yogurt of your choice)
½ cup pomegranate seeds
½ unsweetened coconut shreds
½ cup walnut
1 tbsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
Optional: drizzle of Green Bee Honey
Do This:
Scoop the Coconut Cult Yogurt into your favorite bowl. Top with pomegranate seeds, walnut, coconut shreds and the Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend. If you’d like a touch of added sweetness, drizzle on some Green Bee Honey and enjoy!
