Philosophie Tribe Recipe: Healthy Candy Bar Smoothie

It MAKES MY DAY when a Philosophie Triber whips up something spectacular with our superfoods!

Marlies Hartmann (follow her on Instagram at hartmann_health for absolutely divine superfood recipes!) worked some absolute magic + created this raw, vegan, + gluten-free Healthy Candy Bar Smoothie featuring Cacao Magic.

Marlies says, "it's every indulgent flavor in one delicious jar!" + I completely agree!

Gather This: 

  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt (or yogurt of choice) 
  • 2 tablespoons coconut milk (or sub shredded coconut or more yogurt)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend 
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil 
  • 3/4 cup almond milk 
  • 1 frozen, sliced banana
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons cacao nibs

Do This: 

For the bottom caramel-coconut layer, blend the banana, 1 date, vanilla, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/4 cup yogurt, almond butter, ice cubes, and 1 tablespoon of the coconut milk. Pour into a jar and place in the freezer to set for 10 minutes.

Blend the other date, Cacao Magic, cacao nibs, and remaining almond milk and yogurt. Pour the chocolate layer slowly on top of the caramel layer.

Mix the coconut oil with the cacao powder, and drizzle on top to garnish. Dollop the remaining coconut creme on top and sprinkle on extra cacao nibs! Grab a spoon, a straw, and a friend (if you like to share!) and DIG IN!
