Gluten-Free S’mores Recipe
Supercharge your s’mores with Cacao Magic, coconut oil, whey powder, and almond butter for a gluten-free dessert! Whether you want to camp out at home + toast your treats over the stovetop or pre-make the chocolate bark + stack up your s’mores in the great outdoors, these make the perfect summertime (or anytime-of-year) sweet.
I especially love making these with the kiddies since they’re packed with protein, healthy fats, antioxidants, and minerals AND are so yummy that they’re impossible to resist!
Gather This:
- 1/2 scoop Whey Natural Vanilla Protein Powder
- 3/4 cup coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend
- 2 tablespoons crunchy almond butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- coconut shreds, goji berries, mulberries, goldenberries (chocolate bark toppings)
- vegan gluten-free marshmallows
- gluten-free crackers
Do This:
Place the coconut butter into a heat-proof bowl over a pot of slowly simmering water, making sure the bowl doesn't touch the water. Take the bowl off the pot when it's melted, and stir in the whey powder, Cacao Magic, almond butter, vanilla, and sea salt. Spread the liquid chocolate into a parchment lined baking tray, and then sprinkle on the toppings. Place in fridge for 30 minutes or till set (freezer will be faster), and then break up into small pieces. Toast your marshmallows, stack up your s’mores, and ENJOY!
