Grain-Free Horchata Recipe
Whip up a wholesome, naturally-sweetened horchata for a frothy, sublime drink to sip with fiesta tacos and salsa (or this delicious mango guac)! I sub the rice used in traditional horchata for almond milk to make this refreshing treat paleo + grain-free!
Gather This:
- 2 cups almond milk
- 5 dates
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- coconut nectar (optional)
- pinch of sea salt
Do This:
Add all of the ingredients to a blender, add ice, and blend until smooth and delicious.
