Easy Tips for Faster Smoothies
{ TIPS FOR FAST(er) SMOOTHIES }
1. peel ripe bananas (I'm talking RIPE--the darker the BETTER!) split them in half + then put them in a container or ziploc bag in the freezer.
2. after buying a bottle of e3 live, defrost it in the fridge + once liquidy, put into ice cube trays for easy shots or to add to smoothies in perfect amounts.
3. similar to #2, add coconut water to an ice cube tray to make adding coconut water simple in smoothies. I sometimes add these to my
4. if it's not easy to get to the store/farmers market regularly, buy frozen organic kale or spinach. The nutrients are hardly compromised + it ensures you are getting enough green veggies AND a bonus is the improved consistency of the smoothie! Slushy style, anyone?
5. After making your own almond/nut mylk, freeze it in ziploc bags so it doesn't go to waste. You can later use it in soups, smoothies + other recipes! (it's all my kids drink, no cows milk for them!)
6. When you have ripe other fruits such as berries, peaches, pears + pineapple be sure to peel + cut into small chunks, then put in the freezer in ziploc bags so you can add them to smoothies! YUM!
7. You can absolutely freeze your smoothies in containers (not frozen!) for up to two weeks. To defrost, simply put them in the fridge the night before! Then grab + go. Makes life SO much easier!
8. Since you already have Philosophie Superfoods, you are saving 5 minutes at least of not opening, closing + measuring them all separately!! Good work, my friend! :)
I hope this helps speed up your smoothie prep! As I'm going through my day I'm always thinking of things I can share with you to make YOUR life easier. If you think of anything else you want to know that I can contribute, please do share! I'm an open book but sometimes I forget how healthy my lifestyle is + what may help others. Leave me a comment if this post was helpful! Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend doing whatever bring your the most joy. xoxo

This is GREAT!! Gave me some good ideas, especially because here in Israel it’s harder to find some things :) Since I currently don’t have a juicer, I am going to freeze carrot juice too! (Is that good?? )
:)
