Superfood Iced Tea Recipes

Superfood Iced Tea Recipes

Let me start off by saying that i'm a pretty avid tea-drinker. I usually begin my morning with a big cup of detox tea, and I also enjoy sipping on herbal varieties before I go to bed.The aromas are always so soothing, and I love the sensation of my body being warmed from the inside out.

And speaking of warmth, summer is right around the corner. But when the sun starts to blaze down on your skin, drinking a warm beverage doesn't seem like such a "hot" idea.

Well, it just so happens to be National Iced Tea month! So I was thinking that chilling out with some freshly- brewed tea, fruit, and of course, some ice, is a pretty good way to celebrate. And bringing some Berry Bliss to the party makes it super easy to elevate a basic iced tea to a nourishing beverage... and supercharging it with antioxidants and superfoods like came camu + mangosteen.

So grab a cup, glass, bottle or pitcher... summer is literally just a few sips away!

Gather This:

For the Gogi Tea

For the Pineapple Tea

Do This:

1. Base: Start each batch of tea by bringing your water to a boil. Turn off the heat, and add the desired amount of tea bags. Steep for 10 minutes.

2. Goji Tea: Soak 2 tablespoons of goji berries in warm water for 10-15 minutes. Then the softened berries to a blender, along with the steeped tea and Berry Bliss powder. Pulse until all ingredients are combined, and strain if desired. Set aside to cool, and add ice as needed!

3. Pineapple Tea: Add your fresh pineapple to the tea while it is steeping. Then add the mixture to a blender, along with the Berry Bliss Powder. Pulse until all ingredients are combined, and strain if desired. Set aside to cool, and add ice as needed!

* Add citrus slices, Berry Bee Honey, or even some fragrant herbs! And feel free to dump your ice cubes in whole, or blend everything together for slushy!
