10 Cacao Recipes to LOVE
We are getting in the LOVING spirit over here this month! To celebrate, we’ve compiled 10 of our favorite Cacao Magic recipes for you to dream up in your kitchen and share with your special someone. Not only does cacao provide that addictively yummy chocolatey flavor, this star superfood also works as a natural aphrodisiac + will make those romantic sparks ignite!
DOUBLE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES
Gather This:
¾ cup cacao butter pieces
¼ cup Cacao Magic (+ more for topping)
2 tbsp coconut milk powder
Strawberries
Chocolate chips
Coconut oil
Do This:
Rinse and dry strawberries. Keep in fridge to cool.
Using a microwave, small pot or double boiler, melt cacao butter to a liquid. This should be done on low heat to ensure it doesn’t burn.
Stir in Cacao Magic and coconut milk powder.
Dip strawberries in chocolate and sprinkle more Cacao Magic on top.
Store strawberries in fridge while you make the second chocolate layer.
Again, in a microwave, small pot or double boiler, melt chocolate chips with a little coconut oil.
Drizzle this over the strawberries.
CACAO MAGIC PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
Gather This:
For the caramel —
5 soft dates
1 tbsp water or nut milk
A pinch of vanilla
A pinch of cinnamon
A pinch of salt
For the chocolate —
½ cup Cacao Magic
¼ cup coconut oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp vanilla
A pinch of salt
4 tbsp peanut butter
Do This:
Blend the chocolate ingredients together.
Put a layer of the chocolate in small cupcake molds and freeze for 2 minutes.
Blend all the caramel ingredients.
In the molds, add 1 tsp of caramel, 1 tsp of peanut butter, and top with a layer of chocolate.
Freeze until solid, pop out, + ENJOY!
CACAO COCONUT BUTTER STUFFED DATES
Gather This:
Handful of medjool dates
Georgia Grinder’s nut butter or nut butter of choice
Coconut flakes
Do This:
Using a sharp paring knife, cut one side of the dates lengthwise and use your thumbs to create a small cavity. Add about 1 tsp of almond butter and 1 tsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter to each date. Sprinkle to taste with coconut flakes and drizzle with Cacao Bee Honey and enjoy!
HEART-SHAPED CACAO MAGIC SMOOTHIE RECIPE
Gather This:
1 frozen banana
1 C almond milk
1 tbsp Cacao Magic
1 tbsp Coconut Magic Coconut Butter
1 tsp collagen or Cosmic Elixir
1 tbsp nut butter of your choice
On top: Hu Kitchen, raspberries + shredded coconut
Do This:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Grab your favorite bowl or even better, a heart-shaped bowl (we love ours from Breakfast Criminals!) if you have it and add crumbled Hu Kitchen chocolate, raspberries, shredded coconut and a drizzle of Cacao Bee Honey. Sip, enjoy and fall in love!
CACAO CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Gather This:
1 ripe avocado
½ cup coconut sugar
1 cage-free egg
1 tbsp water
Dash of vanilla extract
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ cup Cacao Magic
¼ cup cacao powder
Large handful of chocolate chips
Sprinkle of sea salt
Do This:
Mash avocado and mix well with coconut sugar, egg, water and vanilla until creamy and smooth.
Add in baking powder, Cacao Magic and cacao powder, scraping sides of bowl until well incorporated.
Fold in chocolate chips and scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Top with a few more chocolate chips for good measure & a touch of sea salt, then bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 12 minutes. These will be super fudgy, but firm up as they cool! Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
CACAO MAGIC PALEO WAFFLES
Gather This:
1 bag of Birch Benders (or waffle mix of your choice)
1 tsp Cacao Magic
Organic Berries
Optional: Butter, Philosophie Superfood Honey, or maple syrup
Do This:
Follow directions on bag of mix, and add 1 tsp of Cacao Magic. Cook batter in your waffle iron and finish with toppings!
RED VELVET BEETROOT LATTE
Gather This:
1 small pre-cooked beet
¾ cup almond milk
¼ cup light coconut milk
1 scoop of Cacao Magic
1 scoop of collagen or Cosmic Elixir
½ tsp maca (optional)
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp maple syrup
¼ tsp vanilla extract
Do This:
Blend the pre-cooked beet with the milk using a small blender until smooth.
Warm up the mixture in a small saucepan until it comes to a simmer.
Return that mixture back to the same blender, along with the rest of the ingredients until frothy, checking for sweetness.
Pour into your favorite mug and top with dried rose petals & some beetroot powder.
Sip, enjoy & relax!
COSMIC MINT CHOCOLATE PUDDING
Gather This:
½ cup milk
5.4 fl oz coconut cream
½ avocado
2 tbsp Cacao Magic
1 tsp Cosmic Elixir
A few mint leaves
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash of sea salt
Handful of cacao nibs
1 tsp monk fruit
Do This:
Combine all ingredients in the food processor or high-speed blender. Let sit for 30 minutes in fridge or overnight until the pudding has thickened. Stir and enjoy!
BERRY CACAO SMOOTHIE
Gather This:
1 handful spinach
½ banana
½ cup frozen berries (I love using blueberries and raspberries)
½ cup steamed + frozen cauliflower
1 tbsp ground flax
2 tsp Cacao Magic
2 tsp Berry Bliss
1 tbsp cashew butter
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp cacao powder
Do This:
Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until thick, creamy, and smooth. You may need to stop and scrape the sides a few times. Drink as is or top with your favorite toppings–I'm a huge fan of cacao nibs and extra nut butter. Enjoy!
IMMUNITY CHOCOLATE CANDIES
Gather This:
OUTSIDE
½ cup coconut oil
½ cup Cacao Magic
3 tbsp Berry Bee Honey
INSIDE
Do This:
Gently melt coconut oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in Cacao Magic and Berry Bee Honey into melted oil, well-blended. Pour mixture into a fun candy mold (you can find them on Amazon). Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour, then add in honey on the inside and freeze overnight.
