How to Make Drool-Worthy + HEALTHY Dishes During the Holidays

The holidays can be a mess to your home + health if you let it. As a mindful mama of three, making sure my family has enough nutrients + sustenance is a major priority. My favorite way to keep our health on track is to make meals that are loaded with as many fruits, veggies and superfoods as possible. Plus, these meals look so much more colorful and appetizing!

Soups, salads, baked fish, holiday ham, and baked goods - all the warm, comfort foods made extra good with roasted veggies and seasonal fruits stored fresh in our double-door Samsung refrigerator. More importantly, I honestly couldn’t survive the holidays without a kitchen filled with trusted cooking appliances from Samsung to carry me through the months of complete chaos.

It’s so easy to upgrade a dish when you bake it or roast it in the Samsung oven. You can add a ton of holiday spices to your favorite veggies like ginger, sage and rosemary. What I love adding the most though to any veggie dish I’m baking is Green Dream! It has such healing + detoxifying properties and brings out the rich flavors of the veggies making it completely drool-worthy.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is baking with my boys. Our Samsung oven makes it SO easy to make batches on batches of delish paleo chocolate chip or vanilla cookies. It’s so simple and everyone can get in on the fun. Plus, who doesn’t want their home to smell like freshly baked cookies?

Paleo Vanilla Cookies

The Cacao Magic gives the cookie a lovely hint of chocolatey-ness, while also providing an energy-lifting burst of nutrients. Then sneak some serious detoxification powers into your treats with a spoonful of Green Dream. A serving of this superfood blend packs more protein than an egg, more iron than a serving of beef, less sugar than a stick of gum, and more fiber than bran cereal!

Gather This:

2 cups almond flour

½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut

1 tsp Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tsp Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp sea salt

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

2 eggs

1/2 cup honey

2 tbsp chocolate chips

Do This:

Preheat oven to 350. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, coconut, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and the superfood blends. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. Add chocolate chips. Using a tablespoon, drop the batter evenly onto the prepared baking sheets; repeat with all of the batter to make 6 cookies on each baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a cookie comes out clean. Transfer to a rack to cool completely.
