Heart of the Week: Yoga Wake Up App

Heart of the Week: Yoga Wake Up App

Waking up on the “right side of the bed” is so SO important. It really sets the tone for the rest of your day and makes a huge difference in your energy levels and mood! That’s why I’ve nixed my alarm and replaced it with the Yoga Wake Up App, designed by my amazing friends at Kamala Collective. Instead of being jolted awake by an awful alarm clock, you’re slowly welcomed back into your body with beautiful music, magical chimes, inspiring meditations, gentle stretches, and energizing yoga flows.

What I LOVE about their app is how you can choose the perfect Wakeup to help you feel exactly how you want to feel. They have Wakeups that support you in cultivating gratitude, finding clarity during a hectic week, feeling powerful and strong, or connecting to specific chakra points. Plus, you can set different Wakeups for different days of the week in advance to fit your schedule and goals–which is SO smart since we all know that the pace and mood of a Sunday morning is quite different than a Monday morning. And if you have kids, they even have Wakeups for the little ones to help them learn how to meditate and do yoga!

This beautifully designed app also has a favorites section where you can keep track of Wakeups you love and a very cool Community area for finding more mindfulness tips. I like that it also allows you to track your progress! And if you happen to awaken in the middle of the night and check the time on your phone, the night clock will have changed to match the dreamy color of the sky. So cute!

Download the app and check out my “Grounded” and “Shine Your Light” Wakeups or my rejuvenating “Parents Reset Meditation” with their free-7 day trial. After that it’s only a $1.99/month to access ALL of the wakeups.
