Feed Your Face // Green Dream Face Mask Recipe

The winter season has been making my skin incredibly dry - it’s so important to not only nourish your body with clean, vibrant ingredients on the inside but on the outside too! I always make sure to treat my skin with the cleanest products to avoid toxic buildup and keep my skin fresh and full of GLOW! Philosophie Babe, Marissa Cohen, shares an amazing Green Dream Face Mask recipe that completely nourishes your skin down to every cell!

Hi beautiful babes! This recipe is meant to nourish you from the outside in. While I definitely believe that the key to clear eyes, radiant skin, and strong hair/nails start with what you put into your body, Philosophie products can also be used topically to get you glowing. With just a few simple ingredients, this face mask in the perfect way to pamper yourself. Since our skin is our largest organ, it’s important to be conscious of the ingredients in our beauty products.  Many masks on the market strip your skin of its natural oils. This homemade version will help treat impurities and decrease inflammation, but when you splash yourself clean, your skin will be left airy instead of tight.

Greek yogurt is the base of this mask, which provides cooling effects to calm any redness and combat dryness. We mixed this with our Green Bee Honey for its antibacterial properties and a squeeze of lemon juice to provide enzymes to gently exfoliate the skin. Skin and self-care, made simple!

Gather This:
1 heaping tbsp Greek yogurt (can sub any plain non-dairy yogurt that you have on hand)
1 tsp Green Bee Honey
Juice of ¼ of a small lemon

Do This:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined. Lather paste mixture on face for 10-20 minutes, sip on one of our tonic recipes and indulge in a Philosophie superfood-infused treat for the ultimate at-home spa experience.
