Celebrating the Fall Equinox with Flower Mandalas + An Autumn Cleanse
The Autumn Equinox is PURE MAGIC—for a brief, beautiful time, the light is so gracefully shared between the twin spheres of our earth, ushering in a period of balance and renewal.
Yesterday, we began our day by honoring the new season and crafting a mandala out of fresh flowers. Kai and I had so much fun creating a pattern out of the delicate petals and carefully arranging them. You learn so much about another when you work on a project together one-on-one in an artistic, creative setting.
I also find it SO interesting that the first day of autumn is also the day of Yom Kippur, a day where we abstained from technology, food, caffeine, school, and work. A cleansing period is always suggested when you transition over to a new season.
For this Fall Equinox, we're celebrating with a purification festival. It is time to say farewell to the warm, gentle summer + ready ourselves for the cooler, harder days of winter. We focus on the ebb + flow of the seasons, on cycles, in the ups + downs of life. Fall + winter celebrations are generally more introspective, as it should be. Today's Yom Kippur was exactly that.
And so beginning on October 12th, we will be doing a Philosophie Tribe 5 (or 14) Day Autumn Cleanse! Our DIY #PhilosophieCleanse is full of REAL, whole food meals that are packed with superfoods and lots of vibrant seasonal fruits + veggies!
I'm so excited to do this together as a big group and will be sending out my cleanse diary videos to everyone each day with tips, love, and support—you can sign up for the special fall cleanse newsletter here and save 15% off our DIY Cleanses with the code "FALLCLEANSE".
And I promise you'll never be hungry! Instead, you'll be fully satisfied, nourished, and RADIANT with energy for the coming winter months ahead!
