Closing Your Cleanse - Tips for A Smooth Transition
Congratulations on finishing your 5 or 14 Day Cleanse!
The best way to bring foods back into your life is to slowly introduce certain types back into your diet.
For the first three days after the cleanse, try bringing soy back in if you're a soy-lover. See how that feels in your body and how your system is responding. Then three days later, add processed foods like crackers or ice cream. The same goes for alcohol, meat, and dairy—all of the things that you're to avoid during the cleanse. Your body is super sensitive so this is a great time to explore and play around with different brands.
And be sure to journal this part of your journey to learn what you're more sensitive to! It helps if you know, "I ate beef at this time. It made me feel really tired." With this powerful insight, you can determine whether you may want to take a digestive enzyme when you're eating that type of particular food or have it less frequently.
And if there's anything to be learned from the cleanse, it's realizing how simple + delicious wholesome cooking can be! Save your favorite cleanse recipes and make them staples in your kitchen.
