5 Summertime Smoothie Recipes
I gathered a variety of my favorite summery ingredients (peaches, cucumbers, berries, mangos, fresh herbs, + cold brew) for 5 summertime smoothies. Sip on these hydrating, nourishing smoothies to keep you and your skin happy + glowing!
Cucumber Berry Basil Smoothie
I love using fresh basil to instantly make a dish or drink super refreshing and vibrant! The leaves contain vitamins A + K and lutein and zeaxanthin, two vital nutrients that support your eyes in filtering light. I blend up basil with ultra-hydrating cucumbers, berries bursting with antioxidants, omega-rich coconut butter, and fiber-filled collard greens for a bliss-inducing smoothie.
Gather This:
- 4 basil leaves
- 1 chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 3 collard leaves
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tablespoon Coconut Bliss Coconut Butter
- 1 tablespoon Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend
- ice
Walnut Lemon Peach Smoothie
Nothing says summer like a beautiful, luscious peach! I took the summertime staple (which is bursting with vitamins A & C, potassium, and antioxidants) and added detoxifying lemon juice and omega-rich walnuts for a lovely, creamy afternoon pick-me-up.
- 1 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
- 1-2 tablespoons Coconut Dream Coconut Butter
- 2 handfuls greens
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 6 ounces water
- 2 ounces almond milk
- ice
- Top with bee pollen and goldenberries
Java Chip Shake
This cold brew + Cacao Magic shake is so delicious (not to mention nourishing!) that you’ll never want to go back to regular old shakes. This coconut Java Chip smoothie is super energizing and full of protein, fiber, heart-healthy fats, potassium, iron, magnesium, and calcium.
Gather This:
- 3/4 cup coconut milk & coconut cream (place in fridge for 1 hour before)
- 2 tablespoons Cacao Magic Superfood + Protein Blend
- 3-4 dried figs
- 2-3 dates
- 2-3 frozen figs
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 ounces Trader Joe's Cold Brew
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- A few drops of hazelnut stevia
- ice
- Top with coconut flakes and chocolate chips
Low-Glycemic Berry Mint Smoothie
Not only is this energizing berry smoothie loaded with antioxidants, good fats, fiber, and protein, it’s also sweet and super yummy AND won’t cause spikes in your blood sugar levels.
Gather This:
- 1/2 avocado
- 3/4 cup strawberries, blackberries, blueberries
- A few sprigs of mint
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons Coconut Bliss Coconut Butter
- 1 tablespoon Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend
- A few drops of vanilla stevia
- ice
- Top with superfood mix
Philosophie's Mango Lassi
The traditional Indian lassi contains one of my favorite fruits, the mango. These alkalizing, immune-boosting gems are full of vitamins A + C and cancer-fighting antioxidants. Here’s my wholesome, dairy-free take on this refreshing, cool-down drink!
Gather This:
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana
- 3/4 cup coconut milk with coconut cream
- 2-3 ounces coconut water
- 1 tablespoons Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend
- 2 tablespoons Coconut Bliss Coconut Butter
- ice
- Top with bee pollen and edible flowers
Do This:
