Berry Bliss Philosopops Recipe
It is so fulfilling for me to share delicious and nutritious treats with my friends, family, and Philosophie fans and it is especially exciting when I hear about other people who are inspired to do the same thing using Philosophie superfoods! Shannon Marie of Rawdorable recently shared her truly gorgeous Berry Bliss Philosopops with me and I thought they were the perfect nourishing treat for Valentine’s Day. Here’s her recipe and photos of the raw and gluten-free cake pops, which include Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend, Berry Bliss Coconut Butter, and Berry Bliss Manuka Honey!
Shannon Marie’s Berry Bliss Philosopops
Gather This:
- 1 ¼ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup Philosophie Berry Bliss Superfood Powder
- ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries, ground into a powder
- 2 Tablespoon Philosophie Berry Bliss Coconut Butter
- 2 Tablespoon Philosophie Berry Bee Honey
- 1 Tablespoon almond butter
- 1 Tablespoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Do This:
In a food processor, combine 1 cup of almond flour, ¼ cup of strawberries, almond butter, a pinch of sea salt, vanilla, and Berry Bliss powder, coconut butter, and honey. Blend until the ingredients form a sticky, crumbly texture. Roll mixture into lollipop-sized balls, insert a lollipop stick into each one, and freeze for about 10 minutes.
While the lollipops are freezing, melt chocolate chips in a double boiler. Remove sticks from lollipops one at a time, dip the end of each stick in the melted chocolate, and re-insert the sticks back into the lollipops. Place lollipops back into the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Create a topping by mixing together ¼ cup of the ground strawberries, ¼ cup of almond flour, ¼ cup of coconut sugar, and a pinch or two of sea salt. Remove lollipops from freezer. One by one, dip the lollipops in the melted chocolate and then roll them into the toppings to coat them thoroughly.
Place in the fridge to set and serve with LOVE!
We’d love to see photos of the beautiful and nourishing treats that you create for your favorite valentines! Share them with us on Facebook and be sure to tag #myphilosophie!
