Cacao Magic Paleo Bread Recipe

Cacao Magic Paleo Bread Recipe

It's no secret that we have a sweet tooth over here at Jaffe home, so I am constantly working on fun new recipes to keep smiles on the kids faces, and my hubby rubbing his tummy.  :)   We just moved into a new home, with a beautiful kitchen.  I am super excited to fire up the oven and start baking.

This recipe for Cacao Magic paleo bread is not only delicious, it's also dairy-free, gluten-free AND sugar free.

To get started, you will need to gather:

  • 1 C bananas, smashed
  • 2 eggs, whisked (or the equivalent in a chia/flax egg)
  • ¾ C almond butter
  • ¼ C raw honey
  • ¼ C cacao magic
  • ¼ C tapioca flour
  • 2 T coconut flour
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • ½ t baking soda
  • ½ t baking powder
  • Pinch of pink sea salt
  • Coconut oil (for greasing loaf pan)
  • 1/3 heaping cup Chocolate chips {I love Enjoy Life brand}
  • Top with coconut flakes or chopped walnuts

Do this:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place powdered ingredients into one bowl (sift) and then wet ingredients in another bowl, keeping the chocolate chips + walnuts off to the side.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredient bowl + mix thoroughly. Then add the chocolate chips, mix again.
  4. Grease a loaf pan with ½ teaspoon of coconut oil, making sure to grease the sides well.
  5. Pour in the bread batter, smoothing the top evenly. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top.
  6. TURN THE OVEN DOWN to 350 degrees after you place the loaf inside.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, making sure the middle isn't wet but the outside doesn't burn.
  8. Serve at room temperature + then store leftovers covered in the fridge.
